Important Details

Use our VW universal water temp adaptor to install a water temp gauge and sender in your VW! Our adaptor splices into the factory radiator hose allowing the installation of an 1/8" NPT water temperature sender. The adaptor is precision machined from 6061 aluminum for a perfect, leak free fit. Included with the adaptor are two OEM clamps and a stainless steel ground screw.

Unlike similar adaptors on the market, our adaptor is exactly the same size and shape as all late model factory fittings. This eliminates all "what size do I need" guesswork while also preventing coolant flow restrictions. Like the factory fittings, the inlet of our adaptor is tapered internally to smooth coolant flow. Additionally, the back of our hose barb is rounded to allow removal of this adaptor at any time. Sharp hose barbs on tubing this large are essentially permanent.
