The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting our ability to provide the level of service that our customers deserve. Obviously we're not alone, but here's a few things that are different for us.
We've had a few critical staff members out sick in the past few weeks. We've been keeping up with production, but anything out of the ordinary is taking additional time. Thankfully everyone is recovering.
Yesterday, Maryland ordered the shutdown of non-essential businesses in an effort to contain the spread of the virus. We don't allow retail traffic so we will continue to operate normally.
The majority of our suppliers consider themselves essential and are committed to remaining open. However, the situation is fluid and out of our control. We must anticipate the unexpected. If your order is delayed by a supplier issue we will keep you informed.
UPS is overwhelmed. Our drivers say the demand on them is worse than the holidays and many drivers are out sick. We've seen delays in our shipments caused by our packages arriving at the hub hours too late. This means overnight might not be overnight. We promise to do our part as quickly as possible. Once you receive a tracking number your package is awaiting pickup and will be handed over to UPS when they arrive.
We ask that you contact us via email during this time. We do not have staff available to answer the phone - everyone is working in the shop. PLEASE email us. Expect a response within 24-48 hours.
