This bung is used to install a VDO EGT probe in your exhaust system. It installs by welding onto the exhaust manifold or downpipe. This bung is included with all VDO EGT gauge kits and does not need to be purchased separately. We are offering it for replacement or custom installations.

Installation Tip
NPT threads are tapered! Be sure to weld the fitting on correctly. The thin line machined in the bung should face the sensor. If welded on upside down the probe will not thread in.
