This adaptor is used to install a VDO EGT probe in your exhaust system. The VDO EGT probe slips through the adaptor and is secured by a compression fitting on the small threads. The large threads are 1/4" NPT and allow the assembled EGT probe to be installed in a tapped hole or weld-on bung. This bung is included with all VDO EGT gauge kits and does not need to be purchased separately. We are offering it for replacement or custom installations.
