Push & Turn style LEDs are not as common as 194 wedge base LEDs, but are often found in places where wedge style bulbs are normally used. The most common base is a 'BA9' style base which can be found in a few different variations - BA9S, BAX9S, and BAY9S. Each of these styles differ in the placement of the two alignment dots. BA9S alignment dots directly oppose each other at 180°. BAX9S alignment dots are slightly offset, and BAY9S alignment dots are almost right next to each other

VW mk4 OEM HID city lights are by far the most popular application for these style LEDs. The mk4 OEM HID city lights use BAX9S style bulbs. Regular BA9 LED replacements are NOT a direct fit. In order to install a regular BA9 LED bulb one of the two alignment dots must be ground off. This leaves the bulb only held in on one side and the connection loose.

We also offer the standard BA9S base. These can be found in the city lights of some aftermarket and European headlights. They are also used in some Audi interior and exterior lights. BA9S LEDs are available in 6 colors.
